The Theme for Day 12 is Giving Back
Here's a portion of the email I sent to teams J and K:
One way to experience a breakthrough is by contributing to the success of others. And I don’t mean helping others so that you can gain. When we sincerely open up our time, minds, and hearts, we gain and grow.
I know it is Sunday, but I want you to think of a few ways in which you can give back:
How could you make a difference for others?
What could you offer that would mean a lot to someone else?
How might you volunteer?
What could you do that is a nice surprise?
Construct 2-3 emails or make phone calls offering to contribute to others. It will be most meaningful if you offer to assist business acquaintances or nonprofit organizations. You can help out your friends, too, but this is something you likely already do. I would like you to contribute in new ways.
======================
Make someone else's day!
This is *really* hard to think about right now. So much is going on, I get a little overwhelmed just thinking of volunteering to help someone else. Maybe I'll offer to help, but find out what I can do toward the end of July or something.

Dwayne - Helping others need not be a major undertaking, but it is fine to plan this for a bit later, too. It might just be a simple gesture to assist a peer brainstorm ideas for a problem he or she is struggling with...

Thanks - I did something after all. I offered to (and did) rewrite a marketing letter for a nonprofit org I am working with (which actually relates to my goal, oddly enough). Look - the stars - they are aligning!
