Now why did they decide that Boss's Day is on a Sunday??? Does that make no sense whatsoever? It's MY one day of the year and there will be nobody around to honor it. Plus, anybody knows that it's my wife, and not I, that is the "boss" on Sundays. Guess I'll have to honor her instead!

Skip - Boss's Day is on Sunday this year because it is always on October 16th, regardless of the day of the week. The holiday started with one daughter honoring a great boss, her father. October 16th was his birthday.

Last year is was on Saturday. Maybe soon it will be on Monday and we can use it as an excuse to play hookey on a Monday!
